A tradeline is a record on your credit report that lists a credit account you have with a lender.
A tradeline contains information about the account, such as: The creditor, The type of credit, The original credit limit, Payment history, Account activity.
Lenders use tradelines to calculate your credit score and decide how risky it would be to lend you money.
* Revolving tradelines: These include credit cards, home equity lines of credit, etc.
* Installment tradelines: These include mortgages, auto loans, personal loans, & student loans.
* Seasoned tradelines: A seasoned tradeline is a line of credit that has been opened & in good standing for at least two years. They are considered the most valuable type of tradeline.
* Authorized user tradelines: When you are added as an authorized user to someone else's credit account. The account holder's payment history & credit utilization will appear on your credit report.
* Business tradelines: A credit account between a business & a vendor.
Auto Tradelines: These tradelines are specific to auto loans & show a history of timely payments on a car loan, which can be beneficial if you're looking to finance a vehicle.
Aged Tradelines are Seasoned Credit Accounts with a long history of Positive Credit Behavior. Adding these to your credit report can help improve your credit score by showing a history of responsible credit use.
Aged Tradelines typically can stay on your credit report for as long as the account is open and in good standing; closed accounts with a positive payment history can actually stay on your credit report for about 10 years. Which will continue to benefit your credit score; you also appear as the primary account holder.
Adding aged tradelines can improve your credit score, making it easier to qualify for loans or mortgages with better terms & interest rates.

Yes, it's legal to use an aged tradeline & authorized user; the practice of being added as an authorized user to someone else's credit account to benefit from their credit history is permitted by credit bureaus.
*HOW DO TRADELINES SHOW UP ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT?*
Tradelines will show the account type, credit limit, balance, payment history, and account status (open, closed, or paid). Authorized user tradelines will be marked as "AU," indicating that you're an authorized user & not the primary account holder. Primary tradelines will show you as being the primary account holder with a majority of the same information listed above.
*HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT TRADELINE FOR MY NEEDS?*
Choosing the right tradeline for you depends on your credit goals. If you're looking to finance a car for about $45k, it'll benefit you to show a history of paying off a car loan that was about half your desired amount. In a similar fashion for improving credit card approvals, a tradeline with a high credit limit and low utilization ratio is the way to go.
*AUTHORIZED USER TRADELINES DON'T ALWAYS WORK*
Authorized user tradelines show as "AU" on your credit report, which indicates that someone else is responsible for paying the debt. Lenders can see this and know that the positive history isn't entirely your own; this can potentially reduce the impact on your creditworthiness compared to a primary tradeline.
*ADDING TRADELINES TO REMOVE NEGATIVE ITEMS FROM YOUR CREDIT REPORT*
Adding tradelines will not remove negative items from your credit report. However, the positive history from the tradeline can help offset the impact of the negative items.
*HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS OF ADDING TRADELINES TAKE?*
The process of adding a tradeline can take 20–35 days (primary), depending on the credit card issuer's reporting cycle. You can expect to see the tradeline on your credit report within this time frame.
If the tradeline doesn't appear on your credit report within the time frame expected, contact us immediately; we'll work with you & the credit card issuer to resolve the issue (exchange if necessary).
*CREDIT UTILIZATION RATIO IMPROVEMENT*
Adding aged tradelines with high credit limits and low balances can improve your credit utilization ratio, which can be an awesome factor in calculating your credit score.
*WHERE DO AGED PRIMARY TRADELINES GET REPORTED TO*
Authorized user tradelines get reported to the 3 credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax, & TransUnion.
Aged primary tradelines get reported to TransUnion, Experian, Equifax, & Innovis in 30 to 35 days after the reassignment process is done.
